Just returned from Baton Rouge...

Hello everyone!

I just returned from the Church Growth International Conference with Dr. Cho in Baton Rouge at Bethany World Prayer Center (BWPC). Some of our leaders (Raymond Hawkins & Jamie Howard) were able to go with me, and we had an awesome time. Great fellowship and some great Cajun food!

Dr. Cho spoke to us Wednesday morning, and it was very good. He spoke to us about the 4th Dimension (Spiritual world) versus the 3rd Dimension (natural world, material things, and the physical body). He shared how we need to start believing, dreaming, and moving in the 4th dimension, and start “calling those things that are not as though they were” (Romans 4:17). It was a great faith lifting message.

Pastor Larry Stockstill spoke to us that night, and stirred our hearts with a word from the Lord concerning The Remnant. He spoke about things that need to be operating in our lives, and to demonstrate incredible integrity. The world is watching, and we must be above reproach in all things.

The worship led by Jonathan Stockstill was awesome! When I first started fellowshiping with Bethany (WPC), Jonathan was probably 12 or 13 years old. Now he is a man of God, powerfully used by the Lord.

There were many powerful speakers including: Dr. Bob Rogers, Dr. Phil Pringle, Dr. James Morroco, Rev. Marilyn Hickey, Dr. Dag Heward-Mills, Rev. Benny Hinn, etc. We were privileged to sit under the pastors of the first and second largest churches in the world: Dr. David Yonggi Cho (Yoido Full Gospel Church, Seoul, Korea - 800,000 members) and Pastor Mario Vega (Elim Church, San Salvador, El Salvador - 111,000 members). That was an awesome experience.

On Thursday, Benny Hinn spoke and it was a poweful experience. First time in a Benny Hinn meeting. I was also blessed to invite one of our local pastor’s in Baton Rouge to dinner and the meeting following. He was touched and it was great to see Pastor Sterling again. He’s an excellent pastor, and he and his wife Peggy are going to do great things in the Baton Rouge COGOP (Tanglewood) church.

It was also great to see and talk with Pastor Larry Stockstill while I was there. He prayed with me and shared some things, and his son Joel (Campus Pastor at the North Church & 220 Youth Pastor) prayed with our own Youth Pastor Jamie Howard. We’re believing God for some incredible things to come at Acworth Church. I believe our best days are ahead!

We are also gearing up for our revival next week with Bishop Alva Wilson. We are currently in a 21 day prayer and fast mode for the meetings. I believe that our prayers are not going to be in vain, as we are believing God to open up the skies and fall down upon us like a refreshing rain!

Why not join us now in prayerful expectation and be sure to be with us on Sunday, October 19 through Wednesday, October 22. Services will begin Sunday morning at 10:50 AM and 6:00 PM Sunday night. With services starting at 7:00 PM Monday through the rest of the week. We may even extend the revival on through Friday if the Lord desires.

Until then…Open Up the Skies Lord!

Pastor Neal
