Just returned from Nashville...

Hello everyone!

I just returned from Nashville where we were having the 95th International Assembly for the Church of God of Prophecy. We had a tremendous time. The Lord was there in a powerful way during the evening services. We even had fun during the business sessions! Can you believe that?

The new proxy system went as well as can be expected. Bishop Randy Howard (General Overseer) did a marvelous job moderating the business, and trying to explain how the proxy system worked. All the business brought up by the Biblical Doctrine & Polity Committee (BDP) and the International Finance & Stewardship Committee was passed with overwhelming consensus.

Neva and the kids arrived on Wednesday afternoon (August 13) during the Assembly and then the fun began!! We had a connecting room with Grandma & Grandpa, so needless to say, the kids were gone immediately.

We were able to see a lot of our friends and many that we haven't seen in a while. However, we are all very glad to be back in Acworth, Georgia and going forth with the vision of the harvest here. The Lord has been doing tremendous things and we are planning a water baptism this Sunday. Many are awaiting this awesome service and we are also very excited about several new members that are about to join our family.
